The most abundant photosynthesizing organism in the ocean accounts for 5% of global photosynthesis and supplies nutrients for animals all the way up the food chain. A new 麻豆蜜桃AV study finds that the warmer the water, worse Prochlorococcus does, meaning less food for the rest of the marine food web.
